| WHEREAS, James Moore has ably served his fellow Texans as a | ||
| legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie | ||
| Rodriguez during the 85th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Moore has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling such diverse and challenging tasks as | ||
| meeting with advocacy groups, performing administrative work, and | ||
| participating in policy meetings, and he has become particularly | ||
| well versed in issues relating to immigrants and persons seeking | ||
| citizenship; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the | ||
| field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative | ||
| process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Moore is a student at The University of Texas at | ||
| Austin, where he is pursuing a degree in international relations | ||
| and history; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
| duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is | ||
| indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend James Moore for his service as a | ||
| legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie | ||
| Rodriguez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Moore as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
