R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Election security is of vital importance to the |
|
|
State of Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Due to the events of recent years, concern has |
|
|
increased over the integrity of our elections; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, To ensure the sanctity of the vote, all data |
|
|
relating to local, state, and national elections, including |
|
|
electronic and paper ballots and all records relating to voting |
|
|
machines, should be processed and stored within the United States; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby express support for processing and storing data |
|
|
relating to local, state, and national elections, including |
|
|
electronic and paper ballots and all records relating to voting |
|
|
machines, within the United States. |
