H.R. No. 2345

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, During the 85th Legislative Session, Cassidy Taylor
Zgabay has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office
of State Representative Dwayne Bohac through the Texas A&M
University Public Policy Internship Program; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Zgabay has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, A member of the Texas A&M University Class of 2017,
Ms. Zgabay focused her studies on political science with a minor in
history; she successfully balanced a challenging course load with
employment as an office technician for Texas A&M Instructional
Media Services, and she earned placement on the dean's list;
moreover, she has taken part in the FOCUS Student Leadership Summit
and served as the fund-raising chair for the Collaborative Aggies
Leadership Initiative; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Cassidy Taylor Zgabay for her service as
a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dwayne
Bohac and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Zgabay as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
