R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Rianna Turner is graduating as the salutatorian of
  the senior class of Tuloso-Midway High School in 2017; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; Ms. Turner has demonstrated a thorough
  understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of
  this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
  high school career; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Constance Turner and Brian Turner,
  Ms. Turner plans to continue her education at Yale University,
  studying ethics, politics, and economics; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Rianna Turner has
  earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
  and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
  this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Rianna Turner, salutatorian of the
  Class of 2017 at Tuloso-Midway High School, and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
  exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Turner as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
