R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ashley Kay Keadle graduated as salutatorian of the |
|
|
senior class of George West High School in 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, |
|
|
Ms. Keadle demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to |
|
|
her studies are myriad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Keadle has also been active in the National |
|
|
Honor Society and in her community, volunteering with Relay for |
|
|
Life and a local crime prevention block party; following her |
|
|
graduation, she plans to continue her education at Texas A&M |
|
|
University, where she will pursue a degree in biomedical science; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Ashley Kay Keadle |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates at George West High School, and her exceptional |
|
|
scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have |
|
|
opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young |
|
|
Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Ashley Kay |
|
|
Keadle, salutatorian of the George West High School Class of 2013, |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Keadle as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
