| WHEREAS, Alondra G. Garza Ramos has been named salutatorian | ||
| of the Class of 2023 at Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, | ||
| and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving this | ||
| significant honor; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; in securing her place as one of the two | ||
| top-ranking students in her class, Ms. Ramos demonstrated a | ||
| thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her | ||
| attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement | ||
| of a notable high school career; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
| recognized for her hard work, Ms. Ramos has gained the opportunity | ||
| to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on | ||
| their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and | ||
| WHEREAS, During her years at Roy Miller High School, Alondra | ||
| G. Garza Ramos has earned the respect and admiration of both her | ||
| teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and | ||
| commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and | ||
| promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Alondra G. Garza Ramos on | ||
| graduating as salutatorian of the Roy Miller High School Class of | ||
| 2023 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as | ||
| she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Ramos as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
