| WHEREAS, Andrea Herrero has been named valedictorian of the | ||
| Class of 2023 at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi, and | ||
| she indeed merits special recognition for receiving this | ||
| significant honor; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; in securing her place as the | ||
| top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Herrero demonstrated a | ||
| thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her | ||
| attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement | ||
| of a notable high school career; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
| recognized for her hard work, she has gained the opportunity to | ||
| address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their | ||
| shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and | ||
| WHEREAS, During her years at Tuloso-Midway High School, | ||
| Andrea Herrero has earned the respect and admiration of both her | ||
| teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and | ||
| commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and | ||
| promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Andrea Herrero on graduating as | ||
| valedictorian of the Tuloso-Midway High School Class of 2023 and | ||
| extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she | ||
| begins the next exciting chapter of her life. | ||
