R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, David Christopher Matl has been named |
|
co-valedictorian of the Class of 2023 at Incarnate Word Academy in |
|
Corpus Christi, and he indeed merits special recognition for |
|
receiving this significant honor; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of co-valedictorian requires not |
|
only intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to |
|
the highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the |
|
two top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Matl demonstrated a |
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
recognized for his hard work, he has gained the opportunity to |
|
address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their |
|
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Incarnate Word Academy, David |
|
Christopher Matl has earned the respect and admiration of both his |
|
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate David Christopher Matl on |
|
graduating as co-valedictorian of the Incarnate Word Academy Class |
|
of 2023 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
as he begins the next exciting chapter of his life. |
