R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ryan Walters, a student at Solomon Coles High School
  in Corpus Christi, was recognized as a recipient of the Education to
  Employment Partners Scholarship at the annual E2E meeting on April
  19, 2017; and
         WHEREAS, To be eligible for this scholarship, students must
  be enrolled in a member school district, and honorees are selected
  based on the strength of their application and on a personal
  statement describing their goals for the future; and
         WHEREAS, After graduating from high school, this outstanding
  young Texan plans to continue his education at the Craft Training
  Center in Corpus Christi, where he will study welding; and
         WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Ryan
  Walters has demonstrated determination and perseverance in the
  pursuit of his goals, and he may indeed look forward to a future
  bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ryan Walters on his receipt of a
  2017 Education to Employment Partners Scholarship and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Walters as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
