WHEREAS, Countless lives were touched by the kindness and | ||
generosity of Pedro Luis Salinas of Duval County, who passed away on | ||
March 16, 2017, at the age of 30; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Jose and Laura Salinas, Pete Salinas was | ||
born on January 7, 1987, in Kingsville and grew up with a brother, | ||
Jose; he graduated from Bruni High School in 2005 and went on to | ||
enjoy a career as a lineman that spanned 10 years; and | ||
WHEREAS, In addition to his professional endeavors, | ||
Mr. Salinas had a passion for ranching, and he could often be found | ||
hunting or shooting skeet; active in his community, he was a valued | ||
member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; and | ||
WHEREAS, Pete Salinas led a caring and purposeful life, and | ||
his loved ones will forever carry him close in their hearts; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Pedro Luis Salinas | ||
and extend sincere condolences to his family and friends; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Pete | ||
Salinas. | ||
