R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Sharon Ann Thompson of
  Kyle were deeply saddened by her passing on October 23, 2020, at the
  age of 72; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Edmund Mueller and Mildred Huck
  Mueller, the former Sharon Mueller was born in Cuero on October 13,
  1948, and grew up with a brother, Gary, and two sisters, Sandra and
  Lerna; she graduated from Nordheim High School and attended
  Nixon-Clay Business College in Austin; for many years, she worked
  as a secretary and in office supervisory positions; calm and
  caring, she was always ready to lend colleagues a sympathetic ear,
  and she never had a cross word for anyone; she received the Superior
  Service Award from Texas A&M University during her time as
  assistant office manager of a Texas A&M AgriLife District Office;
  and
         WHEREAS, She married Jeff Thompson in December 1979, and she
  provided steadfast support in his work as pastor of Lutheran
  congregations in Nordheim, Runge, Fredericksburg, Robstown, Cuero,
  and Wimberley; devoted to her family, she was the proud mother of
  six children, Barbara, Bruce, Brian, Brent, Jennifer, and
  Christopher; she was eventually blessed with eight grandchildren,
  Christen, Cody, David, Jessica, Tristan, Elizabeth, Ethne, and Sam,
  and two great-grandchildren, Taryn and Levi; in her free time, she
  enjoyed reading, gardening, and crocheting; and
         WHEREAS, Sharon Thompson possessed a generosity of spirit
  that expressed itself in myriad ways, and she enriched the lives of
  countless people with her warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Sharon Ann Thompson and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn
  her passing; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sharon
  Thompson.
