R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sara Ruppel has served with distinction as
  Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 38 in Collin County;
  and
         WHEREAS, Integral to the success of their party's mission,
  precinct chairs work to elect public servants who will build a
  better state and nation for current and future generations; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Ruppel has devoted much time and energy to
  providing valuable information to prospective voters, to
  encouraging residents to turn out for elections, and to conducting
  important party business, and in so doing, has made lasting
  contributions to Collin County; and
         WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives,
  citizens must exercise their right to vote, and the efforts of
  precinct chairs to inspire voters to support their parties'
  candidates are part of a proud and vital American tradition; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Sara Ruppel for
  serving as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 38 in Collin
  County and extend to this dedicated community leader sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Ruppel as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
