WHEREAS, Ethan Wei-Ning Song has been named valedictorian of | ||
the Class of 2019 at Wisdom High School in Houston, and he indeed | ||
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; Mr. Song has demonstrated a thorough | ||
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of | ||
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable | ||
high school career; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Song plans to continue his education at Duke | ||
University and major in mechanical engineering and computer | ||
science; and | ||
WHEREAS, During his years at Wisdom High School, Ethan | ||
Wei-Ning Song has earned the respect and admiration of both his | ||
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and | ||
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and | ||
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, | ||
be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Ethan Wei-Ning Song for earning the | ||
title of valedictorian of the Class of 2019 at Wisdom High School | ||
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he | ||
begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Song as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
