	H.R. No. 1419



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Rex and Judy Allen of Nocona celebrated their 70th
	wedding anniversary on March 4, 2019, and they may indeed reflect
	with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and
	WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1949, Rex Allen and the
	former Judy Perez exchanged the vows of matrimony in San Antonio,
	and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other
	a loving life partner; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Allen count among their blessings a
	fine family that includes their children, Diana Garard and her
	husband, David, Rex Allen and his wife, Debbie, and Dolores Carter
	and her husband, Champ, as well as their numerous grandchildren,
	with whom they treasure spending many special occasions; and
	WHEREAS, For seven decades, Rex and Judy Allen have brought
	to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
	pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Rex and Judy Allen on their 70th
	wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
	continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
