| WHEREAS, Houston Methodist Hospital has earned designation | ||
| as a Level II Special Care Nursery Neonatal Facility from the Texas | ||
| Department of State Health Services; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This recognition is awarded to those facilities that | ||
| go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital licensure | ||
| requirements to ensure the highest quality care for mothers and | ||
| their newborn babies; valid for three years, the credential | ||
| reflects an administrative and operational dedication to | ||
| improving, expediting, and standardizing neonatal treatment; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Houston Methodist Hospital offers a range of labor, | ||
| delivery, prenatal, postpartum, neonatal, and advanced obstetric | ||
| services, and its childbirth facilities are equipped with the | ||
| latest technology and staffed by skilled obstetricians, | ||
| gynecologists, maternity and neonatal nurses, and other medical | ||
| professionals who are dedicated to providing compassionate and | ||
| comprehensive care to expectant mothers; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since its inception, Houston Methodist Hospital has | ||
| been a trusted resource to countless patients in the community, and | ||
| its designation as a Level II neonatal facility is a testament to | ||
| the institution's ongoing commitment to excellence; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Houston Methodist Hospital on its | ||
| designation as a Level II Special Care Nursery Neonatal Facility by | ||
| the Texas Department of State Health Services and extend to the | ||
| hospital's physicians, staff, and administrators sincere best | ||
| wishes for continued success in their important work; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Houston Methodist Hospital as an expression of high | ||
| regard by the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
