R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Ernesto Galvan Jr. of |
|
|
Cotulla were deeply saddened by his passing on May 24, 2023, at the |
|
|
age of 76; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Ernesto and Dora Galvan, "Neto" Galvan |
|
|
was born on December 31, 1946, and he grew up with the companionship |
|
|
of eight siblings, Jose, Dimas, Abel, Ester, Melida, Sylvia, Reyes, |
|
|
and Joel; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Galvan shared a rewarding marriage with his |
|
|
wife, Willie; he took great pride in his son, Ernesto, and with the |
|
|
passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to |
|
|
include four grandchildren, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Ernesto, and Kayla; |
|
|
active in his community, Mr. Galvan served as board president of |
|
|
the La Salle County Fair Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although Neto Galvan will be greatly missed, he has |
|
|
left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will |
|
|
forever treasure; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |
|
|
Ernesto Galvan Jr. and extend heartfelt sympathy to his many |
|
|
friends and loved ones; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Neto |
|
|
Galvan. |
