relating to notice of the form to be used by a person to request a | ||

valorem taxes owed by the person to certain taxing units. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 34.015, Tax Code, is amended by adding | ||
Subsection (c-1) to read as follows: | ||
(c-1) The county assessor-collector for each county shall | ||
post on the county's Internet website the form a person must use in | ||
that county to request a statement under Subsection (c), except | ||
that if the county assessor-collector permits a person to use a form | ||
prescribed by the comptroller for that purpose, the county | ||
assessor-collector may post a link to the location on the | ||
comptroller's Internet website where the form may be viewed instead | ||
of posting the form. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
