A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to an appropriation of money from the economic
  stabilization fund to provide certain therapy services under the
  Medicaid program to children with disabilities.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  In addition to other amounts appropriated for
  the purpose, the amount of $150 million is appropriated from the
  economic stabilization fund to the Health and Human Services
  Commission for the purpose of providing speech, physical, and
  occupational therapy services under the Medicaid program to
  children with disabilities during the state fiscal biennium
  beginning September 1, 2017.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2017, but only
  if it receives a vote of two-thirds of the members present in each
  house of the legislature, as provided by Section 49-g(m), Article
  III, Texas Constitution.
