| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. In addition to other amounts appropriated for | ||
| the purpose, the amount of $150 million is appropriated from the | ||
| economic stabilization fund to the Health and Human Services | ||
| Commission for the purpose of providing speech, physical, and | ||
| occupational therapy services under the Medicaid program to | ||
| children with disabilities during the state fiscal biennium | ||
| beginning September 1, 2017. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017, but only | ||
| if it receives a vote of two-thirds of the members present in each | ||
| house of the legislature, as provided by Section 49-g(m), Article | ||
| III, Texas Constitution. | ||
