BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 2054, Government Code, is | ||
amended by adding Section 2054.137 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 2054.137. SUICIDE PREVENTION INFORMATION ON AGENCY | ||
WEBSITE. Each state agency shall prominently post on the agency's | ||
Internet website the phone number for: | ||
(1) the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and a | ||
link to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Internet website | ||
or any successor website; and | ||
(2) the Veterans Crisis Line and a link to the Veterans | ||
Crisis Line Internet website or any successor website. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
