BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 260A.007(k), Health and Safety Code, is | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
(k) If the department determines the report of abuse, | ||
neglect, or exploitation is substantiated at the conclusion of the | ||
investigation, the [ |

written report of the investigation and submit the report and its | ||
recommendations to the [ |

enforcement agency. | ||
SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to | ||
an investigation completed on or after the effective date of this | ||
Act. | ||
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
