| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter T, Chapter 22, Parks and Wildlife | ||
| Code, is amended by adding Section 22.263 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 22.263. RELOCATION. Notwithstanding any other law, a | ||
| provision of an agreement related to the relocation of the | ||
| Battleship "Texas" after the repair and preservation of the | ||
| battleship is not valid unless the provision provides for the | ||
| relocation of the battleship to the San Jacinto Battleground State | ||
| Historic Site. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
