HB3284 by Lujan (Relating to weight limitations for certain natural gas or electric vehicles.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Transportation Code, Section 621.101, regarding weight limitations for certain vehicles, to specify that a vehicle primarily fueled by natural gas or primarily by electric battery power may exceed the gross vehicle weight established by this section by up to 2,000 pounds.
Based on the analysis provided by the Department of Transportation and the Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.
