No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Transportation Code, Section 551.404(c), and Section 551A.053(c), relating to the authority of certain counties to authorize the operation of a golf cart or off-highway vehicle on certain roads when the golf cart or off-highway vehicle displays the applicable license plate issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV).
The bill would increase the number of counties authorized to allow the operation of a golf cart or off-highway vehicle on certain roads.
