Bill Title: As enacted, increases from $10,000 to $50,000 the maximum amount of retirement benefits that may be paid in a lump sum to a state employee's surviving spouse or next of kin in the absence of knowledge of a purported will naming a surviving executor. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 34; Title 8, Chapter 35; Title 8, Chapter 36; Title 8, Chapter 3.
