Bill Title: As introduced, requires increases to any existing hotel or motel tax levied under a private act to be used for the promotion of tourism or tourism related activities in the local jurisdiction; requires any private act amending or authorizing a hotel or motel tax to be considered by the general assembly in the same manner as any public act under the rules of each respective house. - Amends TCA Title 3; Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7 and Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 14.
