Bill Title: As introduced, prohibits as a Class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine an employer from screening an applicant for employment based upon compensation history; permits employer to consider the compensation history of current employee during a transfer, move, or hire of the employee to a new position with the same employer; permits applicant to voluntarily share compensation history information with prospective employer; grants enforcement authority to department of labor and workforce development. - Amends TCA Title 8 and Title 50.
