Summary

As introduced, prohibits this state from paying an annual assessment to the interstate commission on educational opportunity for military children that exceeds $1.15 per active duty military child whose legal residence is located within the geographic boundaries of this state, unless the proposed increase to the established assessment cap is submitted to the governor and approved by joint resolution of the senate and house of representatives in the next regular session of the general assembly. - Amends TCA Title 49.
