Summary

As introduced, authorizes an individual without the educational equivalent of two years of accredited college coursework or NBC-HIS certification to apply for a hearing instrument specialist license if the individual has 10 years of experience working for an audiologist licensed in this state, with that experience being as an industrial hearing conservationist; a lab technician doing hearing aid repairs, hearing aid programming, loop installations, hearing aid analysis, and electronics repair; or other equivalent experience. - Amends TCA Title 63, Chapter 17.
