Summary

As introduced, creates an incentive program for persons covered under a state healthcare plan under which 47.5 percent of a qualified rebate amount for a major medical treatment or procedure is distributed to a covered person, 47.5 percent of such amount is distributed to the state treasurer for credit to the general fund, and 5 percent is distributed to the third-party administrator selected by the department of finance and administration to administer the plan. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 27 and Title 56, Chapter 7, Part 6.
