Summary

As introduced, prohibits the governor from renewing or extending a state of emergency impacting 48 or more counties except by joint resolution of the general assembly; prohibits the governor from declaring a new state of emergency for the same disaster or occurrence as a prior state of emergency within one year of the end of the prior emergency. - Amends TCA Title 58, Chapter 2, Part 1.
