Summary

As introduced, extends the amount of time, from within 10 days to within 30 days, from the order making the assignment, within which a parent who is dissatisfied with the assignment of the parent's student may make a written application to the board for a hearing before the board as to the reasonableness of the assignment and ask for a transfer to another school. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6.
