Summary

As introduced, establishes uniform standards for persons subject to COVID-19 face covering requirements in schools by prohibiting a local board of education or public school from requiring students to wear a mask and by establishing a process through which a person may seek a reasonable accommodation if the person desires to be placed in an educational setting in which all persons who may come within six feet of another within that educational setting are wearing a mask. - Amends TCA Title 49.
