Summary

As introduced, adds the Classical Learning Test (CLT) to the assessments on which a student must attain a certain minimum score in order to be eligible for certain financial aid opportunities; adds the CLT as an acceptable assessment of student readiness for postsecondary education for purposes of high school graduation requirements; requires each public institution of higher education to accept student scores on the CLT for purposes of admission, and to weigh scores achieved on the CLT in the same manner as the institution weighs scores achieved on the ACT or SAT. - Amends TCA Title 49.
