Summary

As enacted, enacts "Aron's Law," which makes the knowing killing of a police dog, fire dog, search and rescue dog, or police horse a Class E felony, unless the offense would be a higher classification based on the animal’s value, in which case, knowingly killing the animal will be punished as theft of property. - Amends TCA Section 39-14-205.
