Summary

As introduced, removes the commissioner's authority to directly operate, or contract for the management of, a school or any grade configuration within a school in the achievement school district (ASD), and to assign a school or any grade configuration within a school to the ASD, on or after July 1, 2024; removes all schools from the ASD by July 1, 2024; removes all authority of, and requirements established for, the ASD on July 1, 2024. - Amends TCA Title 49.
