Summary

As introduced, reduces, from 30 to 25, the years of full-time creditable service that a teacher must have served in Tennessee public schools before retiring for the retired teacher's child to receive a 25 percent discount on tuition to any state institution of higher education. - Amends TCA Title 8 and Title 49.
