Summary

Amend The Code Of Laws Of South Carolina, 1976, By Adding Section 22-3-350 So As To Provide An Assessment On All Civil Filings In Magistrates Court And To Provide For The Collection And Allocation Of The Assessment; And To Amend Section 22-8-40, Relating To The Salaries Of Full-time And Part-time Magistrates, So As To Provide Specific Salaries For Magistrates In Counties With Certain Populations, To Provide For Supplements For Full-time Associate Chief Magistrates, And To Provide That In Certain Circumstances Magistrates Are To Be Considered State Employees.
