| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, in other offenses, further providing |
3 | for the offense of greyhound racing. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 7516 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
8 | § 7516. Greyhound racing and simulcasting. |
9 | (a) Racing.--A person who holds, conducts or operates a |
10 | greyhound race for public exhibition in this Commonwealth for |
11 | monetary remuneration commits a misdemeanor of the first degree. |
12 | (b) Simulcasting.--A person who transmits or receives | <-- |

14 | (1) A person shall not transmit or receive interstate or |
15 | intrastate simulcasting of a greyhound race in this |
16 | Commonwealth for monetary remuneration commits a misdemeanor | <-- |
