AN ACT

Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in assault, further providing for the

3

offense of aggravated assault.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

6

Section 1.  Section 2702(c) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding paragraphs to read:

8

§ 2702.  Aggravated assault.

(c)  Officers, employees, etc., enumerated.--The officers,

11

agents, employees and other persons referred to in subsection

12

(a) shall be as follows:

(37)  A uniformed officer of the Philadelphia Parking

15

Authority.

(38)  An individual certified to operate a taxicab or

17

limousine pursuant to 53 Pa.C.S. Ch. 57 (relating to taxicabs

18

and limousines in first class cities), while in the course of

providing or offering to provide taxicab or limousine

2

service.
