AN ACT

Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in ethics standards and financial

3

disclosure, further providing for statement of financial

4

interests to be filed.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1104 of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania

8

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

9

§ 1104.  Statement of financial interests required to be filed.

(b.1)  Write-in candidate.--A write-in candidate for a State-

12

level public office or a county-level or local office who does

13

not seek to appear on the ballot for election shall file a

14

statement of financial interests for the preceding calendar year

15

within 30 days after the election only if the candidate intends

16

to take the oath of office.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
