| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Providing for a lapse of funds from certain accounts in the |
2 | General Assembly; and making an appropriation. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. Lapse of funds. |
6 | Funds shall lapse to the General Fund from the following |
7 | accounts as follows: |
8 | (1) The sum of $2,000,000 shall lapse from the Caucus |
9 | Operations Account (R) of the Senate. |
10 | (2) The sum of $2,000,000 shall lapse from the Caucus |
11 | Operations Account (D) of the Senate. |
12 | (3) The sum of $2,000,000 shall lapse from the Special |
13 | Leadership Account (R) of the House of Representatives. |
14 | (4) The sum of $2,000,000 shall lapse from the Special |
15 | Leadership Account (D) of the House of Representatives. |
16 | Section 2. Appropriation. |
17 | The sum of $8,000,000 is hereby appropriated from the General |

1 | Fund to the Department of Community and Economic Development for |
2 | the purpose of reimbursing counties with full-time district |
3 | attorneys consistent with the provisions of section 1401(p) of |
4 | the act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.323, No.130), known as The County |
5 | Code, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008. |
6 | Section 3. Effective date. |
7 | This act shall take effect immediately. |
