AN ACT

Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, further providing for commemorative

3

service demonstration activities.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 7517(b) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8

§ 7517.  Commemorative service demonstration activities.

(b)  Offense defined.--A person commits a misdemeanor of the

11

third degree if the person engages in demonstration activities

12

within [500] 1,000 feet of any cemetery, mortuary, church or

13

other location being utilized for the purposes of a

14

commemorative service within one hour prior to, during and one

15

hour following the commemorative service.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
