                             AN ACT

Relating to the Career and Technical Education Revitalization
  Grant Program; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

  SECTION 1.  { + Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
General Fund appropriation made to the Department of Education to
be distributed as grants-in-aid, for program costs and to
purchase services under section 2 (6), chapter ___, Oregon Laws
2013 (Enrolled Senate Bill 5518), for the biennium beginning July
1, 2013, is increased by $7,500,000, which may be expended for
the purpose of awarding grants under the Career and Technical
Education Revitalization Grant Program established by ORS
344.075. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2013 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2013 Act takes effect July 1,
2013. + }
