SUMMARY

Directs Legislative Fiscal Officer to prepare fiscal impact
statement on legislative measures reported out of committee that
would have financial effect on small businesses in this state.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to small business fiscal impact statements.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 173.025 to 173.055. + }
SECTION 2. { + (1) As used in this section, 'small business '
has the meaning given that term in ORS 183.310.
(2) The Legislative Fiscal Officer, with the aid of the Oregon
Department of Administrative Services, the Legislative Revenue
Officer and state agencies, shall prepare a fiscal impact
statement for each measure reported out of a committee of the
Legislative Assembly that would have a financial effect on small
businesses in this state. The statement must describe the
financial effect that the measure would, if enacted, have on
small businesses in this state. + }
