Development. - }
    { - Sunsets task force on date of convening of 2015 regular
session of Legislative Assembly. - }
   { +  Directs Oregon Business Development Department to conduct
review of all statutory laws governing business finance programs
to determine needed changes to laws. Requires department to
report on review and findings to Legislative Assembly no later
than October 15, 2013. + }
  Declares emergency, effective on passage.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to economic development; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + The Oregon Business Development Department
shall conduct a review of all statutory laws governing business
finance programs administered by the department to determine
needed changes to those laws, taking into account budgetary
changes and considerations for the benefit of small businesses
throughout this state. The department shall prepare a report on
the review and findings of the department under this section, and
may include recommendations for legislation, to the committees of
the Legislative Assembly related to business and economic
development no later than October 15, 2013. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2013 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2013 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
