Summary

Redefines crime of aggravated murder. Reclassifies current manners of committing aggravated murder as murder in the first degree. Renames crime of murder to murder in the second degree. Specifies penalties. Specifies procedures for persons already sentenced to death to be resentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
