Summary

Requires law enforcement agencies to take DNA sample of person arrested for certain crimes. Requires law enforcement agencies to take DNA sample of person arrested for certain crimes. Requires destruction of sample, upon person's request, if arrest is followed by acquittal, dismissal, reversal of conviction or expiration of statute of limitations. Removes provisions directing Department of State Police to prioritize testing of certain DNA samples when funds are limited. Includes obtaining and analyzing DNA samples of arrested persons as purpose for which moneys may be allocated from Criminal Fine Account. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
