| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Nick Rutschilling on receiving the 2012 Swine Production Placement Proficiency Award at the 85th National FFA Convention and Expo; and |
| WHEREAS, Nick Rutschilling is deserving of high praise, for he has demonstrated remarkable diligence and enthusiasm, as well as an unwavering dedication to upholding the goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. A farmer and a graduate of Versailles High School, where he is still active with the FFA chapter, he has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to produce superior results, and consequently, he was presented with this year's Swine Production Placement Proficiency Award; and |
| WHEREAS, The maturity and experience Nick Rutschilling has gained through his participation in FFA will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of tomorrow. Indeed, he has set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, FFA plays a vital role in the total education of young people, for it is through such worthwhile programs that the value of hard work is taught and an opportunity is afforded to develop good leadership skills. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as Nick Rutschilling; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Nick Rutschilling for outstanding success and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
