| Honoring Cheryl Roberto for her years of service to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Cheryl Roberto for outstanding service as a member of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio; and |
| WHEREAS, Cheryl Roberto is deserving of high praise, for she has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader. The former director of the City of Columbus Public Utilities Department, she was appointed to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio in 2008, and during her tenure, she has been active with numerous initiatives, including the PUCO/DOE Pilot Program for Combined Heat and Power Technical Assistance. Ably fulfilling her myriad responsibilities, she is a talented and hard-working individual, and she has made many significant contributions to the State of Ohio's growth and development and has clearly shown the potential of each person to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout her long and distinguished career, Cheryl Roberto has demonstrated exemplary dedication to performing her duties and fulfilling her responsibilities with utmost efficiency and effectiveness. Among her endeavors, she has held leadership posts in such organizations as the State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Electricity and Critical Infrastructure committees, and she has striven to serve her fellow citizens to the best of her ability. It is only fitting that she be acknowledged for the expertise and initiative that she has displayed in all her efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Cheryl Roberto's unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and appreciation of everyone with whom she has worked. Clearly, she can take satisfaction in the knowledge that she has provided a valuable service to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute Cheryl Roberto on her exceptional record of service and wish her happiness and fulfillment in the years ahead; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Cheryl Roberto. |
