| To enact section 5533.812 of the Revised Code to | 1 |
| designate portions of State Route 43 and State | 2 |
| Route 164 in Jefferson County as the "Veterans | 3 |
| Memorial Highway." | 4 |
| Section 1. That section 5533.812 of the Revised Code be | 5 |
| enacted to read as follows: | 6 |
| Sec. 5533.812. (A) The following portions of state route | 7 |
| number forty-three and state route number one hundred sixty-four | 8 |
| within Jefferson county only shall be known as the "Veterans | 9 |
| Memorial Highway": | 10 |
| (1) For state route forty-three, the portion commencing at | 11 |
| the southern boundary of the municipal corporation of Amsterdam | 12 |
| and proceeding in a northerly direction within Amsterdam past the | 13 |
| location where state route forty-three begins also to carry the | 14 |
| designation state route number one hundred sixty-four, and ending | 15 |
| at the location where state route forty-three diverges in a | 16 |
| northwesterly direction from state route one hundred sixty-four; | 17 |
| (2) For state route one hundred sixty-four, the portion | 18 |
| commencing within the municipal corporation of Amsterdam at the | 19 |
| location where state route one hundred sixty-four begins also to | 20 |
| carry the designation state route forty-three, and proceeding in a | 21 |
| northerly direction to the southern boundary of the municipal | 22 |
| corporation of Bergholz. | 23 |
| (B) The director of transportation may erect suitable markers | 24 |
| along the designated portion of each highway indicating its name. | 25 |
